This cooperative company is engaged in the provision of emergency medical transport services. It responds to medical emergencies with its fleet of ambulances at its disposal. The cooperative was incorporated in June of 1989 and has its registered head office in Elgoibar, Guipúzcoa, Spain. Its activities for human health are not performed by hospitals or by practicing medical doctors but by paramedical practitioners legally recognized to treat patients. Its team consists of nurses, midwives, physiotherapists or others in the field of optometry, hydrotherapy, medical massage, occupational therapy, speech therapy, chiropody, homeopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture and the like.
